VicinityBrew at the 2019 Craft Brewers Conference

VicinityBrew set to exhibit at the 2019 Craft Brewers Conference

The team here at VicinityBrew is ready for the annual Craft Brewers Conference. This year will be our seventh year attending as an exhibitor. We are excited to connect with everyone in attendance and share new developments from Vicinity, including features and our new branding! In addition to our excitement towards reconnecting with breweries, we are also eagerly awaiting to attend the fantastic sessions and extensive trade show at this event.

The 2019 Craft Brewers Conference is the first event where VicinityBrew’s new branding will be on display. Be sure to check out our new look during BrewExpo America in booth #8113.

Since launching the new brand in early 2019, we are excited to exhibit at CBC the largest annual brewing event in the nationwide. Revamping the VicinityBrew brand is an opportunity for us to simplify and streamline our messaging (much of what we preach to our clients and prospects regarding their brewery operations). The effort is not only a way for our team to reinforce our position in the market but it’s also intended to coordinate imagery from our parent Vicinity Software brand with our craft beer presence. What to see in 2019

During the event, the VicinityBrew team will be demonstrating some of the latest features developed in the past year. Many of the new features center around enhancing our customer experience. We have worked hard at maintaining a robust feature set while creating a simplified and easily configured user interface. A lot has changed since exhibiting in Nashville in 2018. Two major features include configurable screens and advanced formula search. Be sure to visit our team in Booth #8113 if you are in Denver for the 2019 Craft Brewers Conference!

The new screen configuration capabilities have been built to complement the previous coding on the user interface, allowing users to select specific information and sections displayed on a screen. Using this functionality, users can tailor a screen to their specific role displaying and organizing all pertinent information for their job tasks. In addition, clients specify their own terminology via labels, section headers and more. Once the settings are saved, system administrators can distribute screen settings to specific user types or classes throughout the application. The future vision of this development work is aimed at allowing clients to incorporate their own branding throughout the application.

Advanced formula search is a new multi-level search function. This new feature allows brewers to easily track ingredients to all related recipes and vice versa. Tracking ingredients is an essential element of brewery software, and this new advanced search capability creates a fast-tracked avenue to sorting through production records.
