Cool off with one of these cold beers from a few of our VicinityBrew friends.
Ironshield Brewing – 7 Sisters
Style: Vienna Lager
IBU: — | ABV: 5.2%
All hail the Queen of Ambers. You may not know what a “Vienna Lager” is, but you’ve probably had one before. Pouring a rich amber in color, it’s full-bodied- yet smooth and balanced. Seven Sisters has a subtle nuttiness to it, with a touch of honey/caramel sweetness and notes of bread crust. At first glance, you’d think it’s heavy – but it’s refreshingly crisp.
Pair Seven Sisters with Edam cheese, Brats, or Mexican food.
We named Seven Sisters in honor of the legendary Munich breweries that host Oktoberfest. At our taproom, you’ll get it in a special mug. It’s thick, heavy and narrow – designed for perfect head retention and showcasing its beautiful amber color.
Dragoon Brewing Co. – Santa Cruz’R
Style: Golden Ale
IBU: 15 | ABV: 4.9%
Discretion Brewing – Rock Skip Session IPA
IBU: 20 | ABV: 4.2%
Sitting by the creek, we launch flat rocks and watch them skip. We could do this all day while sipping our Rock Skip Session IPA, which offers the hop-forwardness of an IPA, but with less alcohol. Brewed and dry-hopped with Cascade, Centennial, and Mosaic hops, this is an aromatic and refreshing beer full of fruity, floral, and citrusy hop notes.
Fat Bottom Brewing Co – Ida
Style: Golden Ale
IBU: 25 | ABV: 6.2%
Subtle sweetness with a clean finish. The smooth Pilsner malt and delicate European hops create a unique twist on a golden ale. Refreshingly light in body and delightfully thirst-quenching, Ida is sure to satisfy.
Flying Dog Brewery – Pool Hopping
Style: Hazy summer ale
IBU: — | ABV: 5.4
Crafted to be enjoyed on the sunny deck of your choosing, this stripped-down summer ale offers a big juicy hop presence complimented by a moderate body and low bitterness. With tropical notes of mango and citrus, it pairs perfectly with a speedo, tan lines and doing a whole lotta of nothing.
